DataMet Sub-micron computerized 3 point internal micrometer Wireless

From 850,00 €

Range: 6–1,000 mm | Resolution: 0.0001 mm | Accuracy: ±4–10 µm by range | Three-point measuring head | Wireless + USB HID

The MICROTECH DataMet Sub-micron Computerized 3 Point Internal Micrometer measures bore diameters with three contacts that establish a stable measurement inside the opening. Its 0.0001 mm display resolution helps distinguish small diameter changes, while the DataMet system evaluates limits and stores readings. Choose the appropriate head range for the bore, including larger diameters up to 1,000 mm. Wireless and USB HID transfer reduce manual transcription during repeated inspection.

Description

Product

This computerized three-point internal micrometer is available in individual ranges from 6–8 mm through 200–1,000 mm. The three measuring contacts bear against the inner wall as the head expands, giving a direct internal-size reading. Resolution is 0.0001 mm; accuracy varies from ±4 µm on most smaller ranges to ±10 µm on the 200–1,000 mm model. The 1.54-inch color touchscreen presents the result and the selected measurement functions. A setting ring is supplied for ranges up to 250 mm.

DataMet Computerized MICS Functions

The DataMet MICS system integrates measurement, visualization, limit control and data management. It provides color Go/NoGo limits, Max/Min capture, a timer, Ax²+Bx+C formula, linear and temperature correction, selectable resolution, memory with statistics and a rechargeable battery. The instrument displays connection status and supports software updates.

Connectivity & Data

Built-in Wireless sends current and stored readings to MICROTECH MDS on Windows, Android, iOS or macOS. Wireless HID and USB HID provide keyboard-style entry into an application; Wireless HID+MAC is another transfer mode. These paths are alternatives selected for the receiving system.

Where Is It Used and What Tasks Does It Solve?

  • A straight bore can be checked at several axial positions: the three-point head seats against its wall and the stored readings show diameter change along the depth.
  • A large housing opening can be measured with the appropriate 200–500 or 200–1,000 mm head where a small-bore instrument cannot span the diameter.
  • A series of nominally identical holes can be checked against color limits and transferred as individual readings without retyping them.

What Problem Does It Solve?

A conventional single-reading micrometer leaves tolerance comparison and result logging to the operator. DataMet presents the diameter, evaluates the limits and retains the readings from successive bore positions.

How Does It Work?

Select the head range, set the micrometer with its appropriate reference, insert the contracted head into the opening and expand its three contacts to the bore wall. Read the indicated size at the chosen position, then move to another depth if required. Store or transfer each result through the selected DataMet mode.

Configuration & Customization

Individual three-point heads cover 6–8 to 200–1,000 mm. Accuracy and maximum reach vary by head; the largest head reaches up to 1,150 mm. Select the head for the bore diameter and access depth rather than treating all ranges as one instrument.
