This point-contact gauge has a 150–300 mm measuring range, 0.0001 mm resolution, and 800 mm jaw depth. The D 0.3 mm contact concentrates the measurement on a small feature rather than averaging a broad surface.

Computerized DataMet Functions

DataMet functions support zero and preset setup, tolerance limits, peak capture, timed measurements, stored results, formulas, and correction settings. Operators can configure the displayed resolution and use the measurement data for repeatable inspection routines.

Connectivity & Data

Wireless data transfer and USB HID output allow results to be sent to Microtech data-collection software or entered directly into compatible computer applications.

What Problem Does It Solve?

A large flat contact can bridge adjacent geometry and hide the thickness of a small feature. The point contact reaches the target area, while the deep frame provides access beyond the edge of the part.

How Does It Work?

Position the target feature between the point and opposing contact, align the contact with the exact location, and close the gauge. The indicator reports the separation between the contacts as the local thickness.
