The stand is configured for R14–R24 wheel rims and supplied with three digital indicators. Indicator versions with 0.01 or 0.001 mm resolution are available. The fixture holds the rim and indicators in a stable relationship for repeated readings during rotation.

Where Is It Used and What Tasks Does It Solve?

Check how a rim edge moves as the wheel turns. Compare readings at several angular positions to locate a high or low spot. Observe multiple indicator contacts in one setup when inspecting different points of the rim.

What Problem Does It Solve?

A single stationary measurement cannot reveal variation around a rotating rim. Keeping the indicators fixed while the rim turns exposes changes in surface position across the circumference.

How Does It Work?

Mount and position the rim in the stand, bring the three indicator contacts to the intended measurement points and establish starting readings. Rotate the rim and observe changes and extreme values on the indicators.
